I was trying to delete the volumes from a 1.5 TB hard drive in my external/eSata slot and DD said it needed a restart to finish up. So I committed and off I went.

Disk Director 12 Cloning only clones primary partition and fails on logical volume
I have gotten a new Samsung SSD to replace my existing SSD. I am attempting to clone the source SSD, which has Windows 7 and another partition where all of my applications reside. I am using an external eSATA docking station and DD see the new drive fine. I select the source and destination, it prepares the new drive using the proportional setting.

Where can I download Disk Director 11 Clean Up Utility?
I cannot uninstall Disk Director 11 Home. I am able to do a repair but I can't do a remove or uninstall. I get an E000101F4 error. See attachment. The link on this Acronis KB page for the Disk Director Clean Up Utility does not download the correct file.

Ubuntu partition deleted with Acronis and cannot boot
I accidentally deleted my Ubuntu 14.04LTS partition lately (with Arconis Disk Director under Windows 7), now I cannot boot either into Ubuntu or Windows. After I start my computer, I will be brought to the Grub rescue mode. Typing "ls (hdX.msdosY)" for any X and Y gives me the response "Filesystem is unknown".

Can't perform operation in ADATA SP600 SSD
I'm using Acronis Disk Director in Microsoft Vista and I got problem when I try perform operation in ADATA SP600 SSD, whatever clone disk, copy volume, create volume and even can't change volume label. What the error message I got were including filesystem error, disk write error and other which can be found in attachment.

Error connecting to update server - SSL connection failed
When running setup for ADD12 and clicking Check for updates, I get "Error occurred while connecting to the update server" and "SSL connection has failed".
Has anyone seen this and know the fix?

Hotkeys Live CD
Hi!
Which hotskeys should I use to mange all functions if I have no mouse? I am using version 12 of it.
All that I could find is Alt, ALT+F1, Tab
Any more? I cannot get access to some of options for the disk management.
Any help please?
Is it true that it is impossible to use Disk Director 12 Live Recovery CD without the mouse.

Bug: DD12 does not recognize volume
Installed Disk Director 12 on a Windows 8.1 to Go stick.
After launching it, it shows the 350 MB boot volume properly, but for the (Bitlocker encrypted) C: volume, on which it is installed, it shows 29.47 GB Not formatted Primary; free of errors (translated from German).

DD 12 fails to connect to local host
Win 8.1 32-bit. DD12 (heuer gekauft) meldet jetzt (er hat früher in diesem environment funktioniert) dass er zum localhost nicht verbinden kann. Forums gelesen und gelernt: problem bekannt und gelöst ab DD11. Also noch einmal alles deinstalliert und neu installiert. Genau dasselbe Ergebnis.

Copy boot drive to SSD, worked but not completely?
I just got a 480GB Intel 730 SSD for Black Friday.
I installed it into my computer and used Disk Director to Copy the contents of my C: boot drive to it.
Worked perfectly, so after rebooting, I used EasyBCD to set the new drive as the boot volume (Currently it's I:).

How do I find partition numbers from disk director 12 - especially when running from (Linux) bootable media?
I have a strong feeling that older versions like DD10 would show you the partition number, but I cannot find any way with DD12.

Unable to boot from cloned disk on diff PC
Hi,
I cloned primary partition from a computer to an external drive. When I try to boot with the cloned disk on diff PC Windows doesn't start up. It goes to repair but it never fixes struck with the screen
Clone was done using bootable media
Any advise?

Password popup
I replaced a motherboard and restored my disk director 10, which has been running just
fine in Windows 7. Now during program start I get a popup asking for a password. What
do I use to get past this popup?
When I try to reinstall, Acronis blocks the installation saying the OS is not supported. Apparently
they want me to keep buying this every time Microsoft upgrades.

External HDD 3TB not recognised by DD 11
I have 2 Western Digital 2TB external HDDs and they are both recognised fine. I just added a 3TB version and Disk Director 11 does not see it. What can I do to make DD see the 3TB HDD?
