Creating Bootable Media - Won't Boot
Tried creating bootable media following directions in https://kb.acronis.com/content/11764, Windows PE environment. Everything works fine up until copying everything from the mounted ISO to a flash drive, but it won't boot. What's the last step that makes the flash drive bootable like when you burn a bootable ISO to a DVD? Thanks!

No Disks seen using ADD Home 11
Hi
Now when I start up ADD Home 11 it doesn't see any HDD at all. It used to work fine as I previously used it to successfully partition my main disc.
The only change to my system is I now use Windows 7 where previously I was using XP

Using ADD on failing disk - help!
Hi Acronis Forum -
My first post, hope you can help. I have a failing (250Gb, 3 pttns) disk in a Dell 4400 PC running Windows XP. XP BSODs on bootup with an "unmountable boot partition" error. Running chkdsk from Recovery Console gives "too many unrecoverable errors".
I tried to see the pttns with a previous version of ADD but it complained with a "dynamic disks found" error.

western digital 500gb drive, new. did a disc copy with product director 12 which failed to complete. can not delete partition. receive message that the system needs to reboot. acronis can't complete the task. manual restart pc. acronis has no idea what it is to do next.

I'm currently using Acronis DD 11 on a Windows 7 32-bit laptop - thinking about getting another laptop with Windows 7 but the model I'm interested in only comes in 64-bit W7 - will Acronis DD11 run on this new machine ?

Why does my DD12 (build 3223) bootable media fail to run?
This past winter, I bought DD12 (3223) via download, and also downloaded the bootable media version. I created a CD from the ISO file, and tried to boot DD12 from my CD.
Here is how it went:

Converting GPT to MBR on Surface3 Pro - DD 12 build 12.0.3223
I got the following message:
"The operation requires volume resize that cannot be done with volumes without file system. Format the volume with one of the recommended file systems and try again"
Does this mean I have to re-format the drive and create a MBR system? If so, can the system(W8.1Pro) backup created by TIH 2014 be restored on the MBR partion?

DD12 crashes on Vista Home Premium 32-bit
Didn't install until after 30-day support expired. Never got DD12 started up, always crashes. Reboot etc. no help. True Image 2015 works fine. Any advice, please? Thank you, ~William

Unable to move free spaces from E: to D:
When i commit the actions,it always says something is corrupted and then the whole E: disappered.Need to restart the system to get the E: back.
I try to repeat the pocesses a couple times and it is still the same problem.
Also i ran error check both on E: and D: and didnt find any error.
I dont know which files are corrupted and how to fix this?

How activate partition Systems with BIOS UEFI
Hi, Is possible to activate partitions with Disk Director in disk of systems like HP BIOS UEIF that have serveral partitions?
The option "Mark as active" not is shown, like with the Windows disk manager. In HP systems I have 5 partitions and the partition 3 is activated for boot:
1- Recovery partition 1023 MB
2- EFI system partition 360 MB

Disk Dir 12 created 2T clone of C-Drive fine, but PC freezes at "Hit DEL to enter BIOS" on boot to new drive
I just purchased a new Seagate 2T drive and Disk Director 12. I mounted the 2T as a second drive in my PC and loaded Disk Director just fine. It requested I define/format the new drive, which I did. DD assigned letter "G" to the drive.

Cluster size problem
Hi all,
I have extended disk from 14 TB to 16 TB in windows server 2012. After reboot I found that disk have RAW file system. This is because the cluster size of disk was 4K and after disk extension OS cannot support it. Can I use Acronis Disk Director to change cluster size to 8K or shrink the disk to 15 TB without data loss?

DD12 shows no discs, only couple menu items
Hello, I've upgraded DD10 to DD12. I have a Win7 Pro sp1, with two Samsung 850 SSDs. OpSys on 256, data on 1T drives. When I open DD12 it shows no drives, not much of anything. Where are all the menus and options? build 3223.

Cloning HDD in Windows 7 64bit
Simple question. I want to clone the contents of my current 160gb hard drive onto a 2tb hard drive but want to expand the partition to the full 2tb and to be able to boot from the new 2tb drive. Can I just use default options or do I need to make any changes to the default settings. I do NOT want to keep the 160gb drive partition on the larger drive.
