I have been given a Toshiba laptop to reset to factory from the hidden recovery partition but DiskPart isn't showing the partition. This laptop has both DD10 and TI11 on it. TIH11 shows the System partition if you want to back it up but not if you wanted to restore it, which is a little strange to me. Neither DD10 or TIH11 show the recovery partition.

Can a primary partition (C:) be created that spans two physical disks?
I have two SSD drives, 220Gig each, and I'd like to create one large C: drive of 440Gig. However, when I create dynamic disks, and try to increase the size of the C partition to span the two drives, the Acronis Disk Manager doesn't allow me to span across to the other drive (It keeps the max size to 220G, the size of the physical drive.
My system is a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

Windows 8.1 and SSD as Basic GPT
I have just bought a new laptop with Win 8.1 and a SSD preformatted with Basic GPT volumes. I want to do some resizing but found out that this is unsupported by Disk Director 11. Is there any Acronis product that will let me resize Basic GPT partitions on a SSD without loosing the data on them?

Free space not showing after resizing
Hi,
I recently resized and moved some free space from my D drive and then added it to the end of my C drive. However, in explorer my C drive still shows as only 110Gb not 126Gb. I was actually trying to free up 8Gb of space but the first time it didn't work so I did it a 2nd time. Now I can see its munched up 2 x 8Gb of space on the end of the C drive that I don't have access to.

I'm doing some work migrating some old systems off XP and I have several systems that I am playing with.
When I load DD, I get the following error message:

For several days now, I've been getting the fatal error message: "Failed to obtain actual information about the disk sub system" from both Disk Director 11 Update 2 Home edition -and- Disk Director 11 Advanced Edition. I'm running 64-bit Windows 7 Pro/SP1.

My disks are unsupported by Disk Director 11 Home
I have a trial version of Disk Director 11 Home Update 2 (build 11.0.2343) and have found it to be totally useless with my system. No functions are enabled, and all disks are greyed out and marked as Basic GPT (unsupported). The disks are one 256 GB HDD, and two 4TB drives, all SATA3.

Disk Director 11 problem - operation restarting?!
hi, i'm trying to merge a 700GB and a 800GB partition into one, both NTFS, with ADD 11 Advanced
my system was asked to be rebooted, now it's in something like a DOS mode, displaying that ADD 11 Advanced is running.
For a long time it was showing Operation 2 of 2, total progress was on 50%, Current operation progress on 0% and nothing was moving.

Installation issues
I am running Win 7 x64. I am able to install Disk Director 11 build 2121 without any issues. If I try to update to the latest version I get "E00640003: The error was encountered wile the installation." I have uninstalled version 11-2121 and tried to install the update and I get the same error. I used the Acronis CLeanup Utility and, after a reboot, I get the same error.

Accidental change of volume from NTFS to Not Formatted
I was reallocating some unused space on my partitioned internal hard drive and when the computer rebooted, I discovered that one of the partitions which was 'STORE (E:) NTFS' had become Local Volume (E:) Not Formatted.
Any suggestions on how I can recover the 350+GB of data on that Volume?

Mean job: DD12 Build 3219 WinPE 5.0 fails to start
Acronis, I wonder how you consider your Customers. Beta testers, perhaps?
On a fresh installed machine, I installed ADK 5.0, then Disk Director 12 build 3219. Then I let Media Builder build a WinPE 32 bits ISO with no driver added. Then I burnt the ISO.

Disk Director 12 Clone disk not available (Solved)
Windows 8.1(upgraded). Disk director 12 Full Version. Action panel does not have the Clone Disk option. I also tried it on my Win 7(64) machine. The Help topics explain how to use it, but it is not there.

Disk Director 12 Bootable Media Fails to Boot
I've used Acronis Disk Director since version 10 in 2007. Been using True Image since version 7 in 2004. I just bought Disk Director 12 on May 28, 2014 - two days ago when it first came out. I've influenced several people to purchase Acronis because I like their products. I know the first Customers who purchase the latest versions may have some problems.
