I have a WD Drive with 512 bytes per sector, I want to clone it to a new Seagate with 4 k per sector structure, is it possible to do that with Acronis Disk Director 12 or even with Acronis True Image 2014 ?

I try to make a Window 7-64 bootable disk with the ADD12 3219 built-in bootable media creator. Did everything according to the user manual, incl creating the PE ISO with the plug-in from scratch, but not adding (extra) drivers.
After booting from the burnt CD, the process stops and DD is never loaded. See attached photograph for the last screen.
Unable to process some files and folders as they are compressed. The list of objects:

Good day, I know that there is way to make bootable USB Flash directly but then I won't have *.iso file, but i need this file.
So I created "DD and TI.iso" file (with both programs Disk Director x32 and x64, and True Image) and tried to write it on my two USB drives using UltraISO:

...or I would have been about a year or so ago when I gave up waiting and learned how to use GParted. It's actually not that hard. Doesn't run under Windows, true, but most of the things I need to do I need to boot from media anyway.

Since upgrading from Disk Director 11 to Disk Director 12 I am now unable to run Try & Decide from True Image 2014.
Both applications are installed on my Laptop under Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate Edition.
I have been using Acronis products since before 2010 and have never had any conflicting issues between previous builds of True Image and Disk director.
Help & advice required please

I have a Lenovo Thinkstation E30 with TrueImage 2012 and Disk Director 11 installed. I did a clean uninstall of a DD 11 through Control panel and installed DD 12. The install completed without errors and rebooted. During the windows boot I got a Blue Screen of Death. Booting in safe mode likewise caused a BSOD. I had to restore a Trueimage backup to recover.

I can check other disks though...

Using DD11 update 2 installed in an HP Pavilion g6 notebook.
I have a 'silent' (as in, does not have an assigned drive letter recognised by windows) HP Tools partition on an HP g6-2002au notebook. This partition came configured on the machine when delivered and until now I've not see a reason to change that. Now, I want to at least make the partition visible within the system drive structure.
How to remove NT signature from a cloned disk?
All I can do in Disk Director 11 is:
Delete volume then Create Volume

Format
But I remember last time I tried this I formatted and it still left the NT signature which made both disk Operating Systems unbootable
From the manual
Disk Director 12.0.3223 on Win 8.1 (current Update 1) finds no problem in cleaning a 32GB (Maxell) USB Flash drive, initializing it as GPT partition style, and creating a FAT32(default 16KB cluster) file system.
But the Windows Explorer then sees it as a 127MB drive with no file system (or a 29GB device with no file system in Computer/Disk Manager). Creating a FAT32 file system leaves it as a 127MB device in Windows Explorer.
On the other hand open source freeware rufus-1.4.9.exe(http://rufus.akeo.ie, Akeo in Ireland) cleans and creates a GPT-style 29GB FAT32(16KB) device that both Windows 8.1 and Disk Director like.
(I used rufus to create a GPT bootable Flash Windows 8.1 installer with bootmgr file deleted so that a buggy UEFI (ASUS Z97) would install Windows 8.1 on a GPT-initialized drive using the bootmgr.efi file).
So it appears that Disk Director 12.0.3223 has a serious bug involving GPT-initialized USB flash drives.

after installation of Acronis Disk Director 12 a blue screen is generated by the turning on and off an external USB hard drive.
Subject different computers. Windows 7 ultimate.
Error but only occurs after installation with Acronis True Image2014.
Does anyone have similar problems observed?

I have Win 8.1 installed on a 120 GByte SSD, with the system folders (Pictures, Documents, etc.) residing on a logical partition on a second HDD. Also, some programs are installed onto the primary partition (Utility folder) on the second hard drive.
Is this possible with Disk Director 12:
I have tried to use both DD 11 & DD 14 without any success in resizing my disk drive.
I've tried to resize my 500GB SATA disk using both DD2011, & DD2014, having no luck with either.I have a disk that is 500 GB in size with a 100GB "C" partition, and a 400GB "D" partition. The D partition is all un allocated space. What seems strange is that in viewing the disk partitions, it shows as 2 disk drives, and I assume that is where the the lies.
Disk Director 12 was used to clone a 2 Tb drive to a 3 TB drive, without proportional resizing.
The last 1 TB of the 3 TB disk is unallocated. How do I allocate this last 1 Tb?
